Knights of Columbus Family of the Month
Mark and Fran Majcher are our family of the month for December.
They have been registered parishioners since August, 2007.
Mark and Fran met in college. They have 2 children, Cheryl and Christine who work in the health care field at area hospitals. The daughters have given Fran and Mark two wonderful grandchildren.
Mark spent 20 years in the Navy as a pilot flying helicopters and 31 years working for a defense contractor.
Fran worked 30 years in education for the Brevard County School system.
Mark and Fran use horticultural therapy to heal their hearts and spirit, at their home in Indian River Colony Club. They have spent countless hours ensuring that our beautiful courtyard and fountain are attractive and maintained. They are honored that Father John has allowed them to continue their healing as caretakers of the Courtyard at St. John's. They feel the love and guidance from Mother Mary when they tend to the flowers.
Through the years, Fran has been involved as a Eucharistic Minister, with Open Table, and support of Vacation Bible School.
They feel blessed with the kind words for the clergy, staff, and parishioners of St. John's.
