The Knights of Columbus and St. John the Evangelist family of the month for March is Artie and Barbara Hudson.
They have been registered parishioners of St. John’s since September, 2001.
They have 2 daughters, 1 granddaughter, 3 grandsons, and 1 great grandson.
Artie and Barbra have been involved in many ministries. The have been very active volunteering with our youth ministry. They have helped with Edge for 2 years and vacation bible school for 10 years.
Artie has been a chaperone on a youth group retreat in Georgia.
Artie has also been a member and chairman of the finance council, was on the original God’s Heart…Our Dream capital campaign, member of the building committee, a member of the parish council and a prayer line participant.
Barbara has been very involved with Christ Renews His Parish by attending the retreat, leading 5 separate groups, assisting in the kitchen and participated in the continuation meetings. She was also a member of the Council of Catholic Women and was treasurer.
We are very blessed to have Artie and Barbara contribute their time and talent to the St. John the Evangelist community.
