Josefina Perez grew up in Queens, NY and was always very active and involved in her church community. Her love for music and the arts led her to study Performing Arts at Queensborough Community College and her passion for working with children inspired her to pursue a career in teaching. At Touro College she graduated at the top of her class as Valedictorian and taught Early Childhood Education at St. Joseph's Yorkville Elementary School in Manhattan, NY. She moved to Viera, Florida in April of 2021 where she resides with her 2 children Angelica and Leonardo who are also very involved in the parish as lectors and children's choir members. Josefina feels blessed to be a part of the Ensemble Choir at the 9:00am Sunday mass and also enjoys participating as a Minister of the Word. She truly loves this parish and enjoys being of service to her fellow parishioners.
