The Family of the Month award has been presented by the Knights of Columbus in our parish for the past four years. This past month’s award is being presented to a family who takes their faith very seriously; searching out Catholic Churches everywhere they travel.
St. John the Evangelist community and the Knights of Columbus Council # 6125 are proud to announce that Ken and Susan Mader are the Family of the Month for February. Ken and Susan have been active in several parish ministries since they moved here in 2015. Together they have served in the Funeral ministry and as members of Christ Renews His Parish. Ken continued to serve as Lay Director for the Christ Renews His Parish ministry. Susan is a Past Treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Council of Catholic Women. Susan is also a Greeter at the Sunday 9 a.m. Mass, and Ken has been an Usher at the same mass for many years. Susan completed the Bible In A Year Program and is currently enrolled in the Catechism In A Year Program. Ken is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He has served as Past Deputy Grand Knight and Past Grand Knight. Ken is also serving as Captain in the 4th Degree Assembly. Thank you, Ken and Susan, for your continued service to St. John's.
